The Euphonium is a Brass instrument. Together with the Baritone and Trombone they form the lower brass section of the Concert Band.

They are an integral part of the Band and they hold the entire bass section together and provide the momentum and interest that is much needed in our music, not to mention its capacity to deliver the bass line.

Euphonium student

Hi, I've been playing the Euphonium for a few years now and really enjoy this instrument. I have found it very easy to learn.
The Euphonium is a great instrument!
I hope you are enjoying "The Bottom Line" playing in the background.
This piece demonstrates how important the Euphonium and his team mates are.

As you can see the Baritone is a bit smaller than the Euphonium.
Although the Euphonium is easy enough to manage because of the way it is held, a smaller child may prefer to start on the Baritone and move on to the Euphonium later on in their career or even on to the Tuba which is bigger again.
